Cats have evolved to be excellent hunters on land, so they have not developed a natural ability to swim or enjoy being in water. Additionally, their fur takes longer to dry and can weigh them down, making it uncomfortable and potentially dangerous for them. However, some cats do enjoy water and swimming, and their aversion to it is not universal.
Toby Jackson is not universal as you can see in these clips. LOL!!
